What’s your favourite part of working here?
My favourite part is meeting clients, whether internal or external, every day and knowing that I’m making a positive impact in their lives. The community is friendly, the atmosphere is lively, and the space itself is cosy, making The Old Street WorkRooms the perfect workspace and simply a fun place to work.
How did you come to join the Old Street WorkRooms team?
I discovered The Old Street WorkRooms online. I read through Covalt’s ethos and what they were looking for, and I was impressed. It seemed right up my street and resonated with me. I was drawn to its location, having been a frequent visitor of the Old Street area 😊 and so I always hoped I could work in such a vibrant area. I submitted my application and the rest was history.
What’s something people might not know about what you do behind the scenes
I do a lot of voluntary and community work, especially work that involves young people. Youths are our future leaders, so it is important that they are nurtured and guided onto the right path in life. I love being able to give back to society in various ways.
What’s one thing you think makes Old Street WorkRooms special?
I love how Old Street WorkRooms has a great work-life balance that breeds flexibility and freedom. This is something I believe is very difficult to achieve in the corporate world but, OSWR nails it perfectly. The culture is one that is inclusive of variety, diversity and unity. Pure togetherness. The vibe is relaxed but focused, which indeed makes it the perfect environment for productivity.
Any favourite memories or moments here so far?
So far, my favourite moments have been hosting weekly Wednesday Morning Breakfasts and switching up the food palette every week. Seeing the smiles on clients’ faces always lights up the room. I also have many fun moments with my colleagues and team. It is always a positive vibe when we are together.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, watching interesting and educative videos, attending concerts and sporting events and walking out in the nature. I love performing community and charity work too.
If you could describe the vibe of Old Street WorkRooms in three words, what would they be?
Warm, Unique, Positive.
