Our community thrives thanks to the incredible individuals and organisations that call Old Street WorkRooms home.
One such organisation is C-Screens. Founded in 2014, the company was established to address one of the biggest challenges in modern media – changing TV consumption habits. As ad avoidance grows and viewing becomes increasingly fragmented, advertisers are searching for new, immersive ways to reach and engage audiences with premium content.
As the UK’s largest outdoor TV broadcaster, C-Screens connects linear TV and broadcaster video-on-demand (B/VOD) with out-of-home media. The nationwide network delivers premium content in high-footfall locations, reaching bespoke and highly engaged audiences in real-world environments.
We’re proud to have C-Screens as part of our diverse community.
We speak to Alice Kimber, Senior Marketing Manager at C-Screens to find out more about their experience at Old Street WorkRooms.

What industry or sector does your company operate in?
I’m the Senior Marketing Manager at C-Screens. My role is all about creating and managing marketing materials and opportunities that support our sales, tech, and commercial estate teams, as well as promoting the brand across our own channels.
On any given day, this might mean commissioning photography or videography, developing case studies for LinkedIn and our website, briefing bespoke research projects with third-party data providers, writing award entries, managing relationships with our PR and digital agencies, and overseeing budgets to keep everything on track.
This year we’re also leading the planning of our upfronts event in November, which Marketing is responsible for organising. No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly what I love about it!
Has your company had other office locations in the past?
Yes, though only in the early years (I’m not sure exactly where). We’ve been based at the WorkRooms for some time now, recently moving from the 2nd floor to the 3rd as the team expanded.
How many people currently work for your company?
33 in total, all of which are based at Old Street WorkRooms.
What do you enjoy most about being based here?
I absolutely love the communal spaces, especially the rooftop! I also really look forward to the weekly Wednesday breakfasts. It’s such a nice midweek treat with a great spread. The daily fruit bowls are a lifesaver —they’re usually my biggest contribution to my five-a-day and keeps me going when hunger strikes in the afternoon.
How does this workspace compare to others you’ve worked in previously?
I really appreciate being in a smaller, more personal workspace. My last office was so large that we needed to allow extra time to get to meetings, and the lifts were a constant battle! Here it feels more manageable, and I love having more time for a tea in-between meetings.
Has being based at Old Street WorkRooms had an impact on your business or team in any way?
For me personally, the location has offered such a huge improvement to my daily routine. My commute is now half the time it used to be, which means I can fit in a morning gym session without a 5:45am alarm. Being situated between Old Street and Farringdon also gives great flexibility when the trains aren’t running smoothly, giving easy alternative routes.
How would you describe the WorkRooms community or atmosphere in your own words?
Relaxed, respectful, and easy-going. It’s a space where you feel comfortable sharing communal areas with others, not just your own team.
Do you collaborate or connect with other WorkRooms tenants?
Not extensively, beyond the friendly greetings in the kitchen, or the occasional playtime when someone brings in their adorable dog (another great perk of WorkRooms!)
What would you say to someone thinking about joining Old Street WorkRooms?
It’s a brilliant space with a great atmosphere, plenty of perks and an excellent location.
